My Favorite Park: Kincaid Park

Diane setting up for a ski race at Kincaid Park in -10° F weather.

“Kincaid Park is the best place in town for year round fun . There’s great skiing on a wide variety of trails for all abilities. Good places for wildlife viewing. Great mountain biking on the Single Track Trails and the more tame touring for biking wimps like me. Perfect place for a quick view of the mountains and Cook Inlet before taking visitors to the airport. With disc golf, soccer, archery and biathlon venues, the park offers something for everyone. The biggest surprise is that it is really easy to have a quiet walk in the woods and still feel like you have the place to yourself.”
