Park History

This park was established in 1982 and named after the creek that runs the length of the park. The creek is named for Sir
Joseph Campbell who explored Alaska between 1792 to 1785.

Features & Amenities

  • Accessible playground equipment for 2-5 year olds
  • Small ball field area
  • Picnic tables and grill
  • Parking lot with 18 spaces
  • Trail lit in winter for skiing
  • In the summer there are points of interest along the creek for viewing salmon spawning
  • There are fishing seasons on Campbell Creek (more information available from the Department of Fish and Game)
  • Located in Campbell Creek Greenbelt
