PARK HISTORY

The Municipality of Anchorage purchased the parkland for Folker Park in 1984. In 1990, a log cabin was removed from the property. In 1996, the Parks & Recreation Department began work with the University Area Community Council to plan development of the park.

Reservations: contact the Anchorage Parks and Recreation Department at 343-4355. The Anchorage Park Foundation is not a department of the Municipality of Anchorage, and cannot process reservations!
