PARK HISTORY

This park was purchased in 1982, and a portion of the price was contributed by the landowner. In 1982, a student intern developed a park plan, and development began in 1983. In 2001, the sand volleyball pits were built with a partnership with Alaska Outdoor Volleyball.

Reservations: contact the Anchorage Parks and Recreation Department at 343-4355. The Anchorage Park Foundation is not a department of the Municipality of Anchorage, and cannot process reservations!
