Anchorage Park Foundation Challenge Grants are made possible by generous support from the Rasmuson Foundation.
Airport Heights Community Council members and the Scotty Gomez Foundation partnered with the Anchorage Park Foundation to rehabilitate this neighborhood hockey rink for year-round use. Project partners:
- Leveled and resurfaced the rink;
- Stabilized the rink foundation;
- Installed new dasher boards; and
- Added energy-efficient lighting.
Project partners celebrated completion of the project on June 13th, 2009 in concert with the Airport Heights Community Council annual picnic.
