My Favorite Park: Kincaid Park Biathlon Range
“Biathlon is a very tough sport, mixing the endurance sport of skiing with the accuracy of shooting. I see the range here in Anchorage as an opening to the rest of the world, as my accomplishments that started in Anchorage are leading me farther across the globe.
Anchorage has already produced several Olympic caliber biathletes, and because of the range it will continue to produce more. It is very nice seeing the commitment the city has made to biathlon in building a new and better range. This should lead to more competitive opportunities here.”
