With your support we completed 36 park projects this summer including eight neighborhood park fix-its, five ribbon cuttings, our 6th season of Youth Employment in Parks, an art opening, a new app, and a big playground challenge honoring retired ASD Superintendent Carol Comeau. We have one more ribbon to cut at North Russian Jack Springs Park, when we unveil the huge new polar bear play equipment – we will need your help naming this cool new play feature. Stay tuned!
As the political season heats up, I’ll remind you park lovers to keep parks and trails on the minds of our politicians as we strive to make Anchorage the best place to Live.Work.Play. through the efforts of volunteers, private funders, and public funders!
