The Municipality of Anchorage Parks & Recreation Department, the Anchorage Park Foundation, and the Great Land Trust are collaborating on a master plan for the Campbell Creek Estuary Natural Area.
Campbell Creek Estuary Natural Area is on the coast along Campbell Creek just downstream of Campbell Lake. The property contains significant wildlife habitat, sensitive wetlands and is protected by a conservation easement. There is funding to construct a small parking area, a trailhead, and natural trails on the property.
We are seeking submissions to our Request for Proposal to build overlooks along the nature trail that will be constructed throughout the area this summer.
