DESCRIPTION:Pick.Click.Give. allows Alaskans to donate a portion of their Permanent Fund Dividend to causes they care about statewide. \nGo to pfd.alaska.gov to pledge a donation to the Anchorage Park Foundation today. \nWhile applying for their PFD online\, Alaskans can choose to Pick.Click.Give. in increments of $25. All donations are tax deductible and donors will receive tax documentation from the State once their donations have been processed. Permanent Fund Dividend applications are available from January 1 to March 31\, though Alaskans may choose to add or adjust their pledges online through August 31. \nFile for your PFD or add a pledge at pfd.alaska.gov.

SUMMARY:Celebrate Trails Day Bike Ride
DESCRIPTION:Join us on a bike ride to learn more about two federally-funded trail projects in Anchorage – the Ship Creek Trail to Coastal Trail connection and the Fish Creek Trail to Coastal Trail connection. \nThe federal dollars are matched locally by voter-approved municipal park bonds. The trails will be built in the next five years – adding two more miles to the trail system. \nMeet Downtown on your bike at The Rail @49th State Brewery – 721 Depot Drive (by The Boardroom) – west of the Alaska Railroad Depot \nBiking time is about 75 minutes with information shared along the way. It may be icy\, so bundle up. We will return to The Rail for the opportunity to purchase food and drinks. \nPlease rsvp by sending an email to Diana@anchorageparkfoundation.org \nThis is an informal event to learn more about trail connections. \nCelebrate Trails Day is an event hosted nationally by Rails to Trails Conservancy – with events all across the United States.
