DESCRIPTION:The Bonny Sosa Tuesday Night Race Series is a fall tradition for many Anchorage families\, as these fun runs are like no other in Anchorage. These races are rarely canceled\, even when faced with rain\, snow\, sleet\, hail\, or wind. \nEach Tuesday\, starting at 6:30 p​.m.\, three separate race courses are set at a pre-determined location around town. The routes are known only to certain Parks and Recreation staff and volunteer course-setting wizards. While the Munchkin and Farm Leagues usually stay on heavily-used trails\, the Lightning League is a different story. ​Lightning courses have been known to test your resolve.​ Learn more and register

DESCRIPTION:The sixth annual Moose Loop Trail Challenge is a community challenge to walk\, run\, or bike the amazing Anchorage trails that loop around the city before the snow flies. This family-friendly event is a fundraiser for the Anchorage Park Foundation\, a nonprofit working to improve parks and trails.
