SUMMARY:Bonny Sosa Tuesday Night Race Series
DESCRIPTION:The Bonny Sosa Tuesday Night Race Series is a fall tradition for many Anchorage families\, as these fun runs are like no other in Anchorage. These races are rarely canceled\, even when faced with rain\, snow\, sleet\, hail\, or wind. \nEach Tuesday\, starting at 6:30 p​.m.\, three separate race courses are set at a pre-determined location around town. The routes are known only to certain Parks and Recreation staff and volunteer course-setting wizards. While the Munchkin and Farm Leagues usually stay on heavily-used trails\, the Lightning League is a different story. ​Lightning courses have been known to test your resolve.​ Learn more and register

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, October 17\, 2026 | 2 – 4 p.m. \nEnchanted dreams come alive as you stroll along the forest playing games\, while frolicking and take pictures with forest fairies\, knights gathering and hidden wizards and elves. This is where magical creatures meet brave warriors and high royalty and bring Halloween magic to life. Very limited fruit snacks distributed\, mostly fun and games! Costumes are encouraged​. Music on the beach with food truck and warming fire barrels.​​ Shuttle bus transportation is available beginning a​t 1:30 pm.
