Director of Development & Communications
The Anchorage Park Foundation is seeking a full-time, Anchorage-based Director of Development & Communications ($80,000–$95,000/year plus benefits) to drive fundraising strategy, strengthen public engagement, and deepen community connections to local parks and trails. Working closely with the Executive Director and a small, collaborative team, this hands-on leadership role manages major gifts, corporate sponsorships, grants, annual giving, and multi-channel marketing campaigns. Ideal candidates bring at least five years of experience in nonprofit development or communications, proven donor stewardship skills, strong storytelling abilities, and a passion for Anchorage’s outdoor recreational spaces.
