Karen’s friends and family have established the Karen Bronga Memorial Fund at the Anchorage Park Foundation to honor her legacy and continue the work she cared so deeply about.
Contributions will support trail improvements in East Anchorage, where Karen was a tireless advocate for better connections to the Chugach Mountains and greater access to outdoor recreation.
Gifts to the fund will help advance projects Karen was passionate about, including Chugach Park access, trail extensions, and connections between existing trails. While progress has been made, more work remains, and additional funding is needed for trail improvements, signage, and amenities.
