Writing in Your Parks: Sand Lake Park Learning Lab

It’s summer in Anchorage! Take advantage of the endless sun and the creative energy that comes with it by writing in Anchorage parks. We will write with presence and awareness, using the sights, sounds, and smells of our natural surroundings as our inspirations. Discover a beautiful piece of nature in Anchorage’s park network.
Workshops will also include time to share what we write, focusing on what’s strong about the writing and what stays with us.
Each workshop costs $10 and includes a journal and pen. The learning lab was designed with the help of children, and is nestled between Sand Lake Elementary and Sand Lake. Register here.
