Group Ride on Downtown Protected Bike Lane

Downtown Anchorage has a new pilot protected bike lane (PBL). The ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening will be held in advance of the Thursday, May 30th Live After Five Concert at Town Square Park.
Join us to test the route in a group bike ride from Elderberry Park to Town Square Park. We will meet at Elderberry Park and walk or bike up the 5th Avenue hill, turning right onto Coastal Place and left onto 6th Avenue riding eastbound along the PBL to Town Square Park.
Let’s assemble at the park at 4:15 to check out the new park improvements. The ride starts at 4:30pm.
We need to arrive at Town Square Park’s 6th and F Street Plaza by 4:50pm for a 5:00pm start.
