2026 Parks + Trails Recreation Fair

2026 Parks + Trails Recreation Fair
Join us for the 2026 Parks + Trails Recreation Fair on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Kincaid Park Chalet.
Hosted by the Anchorage Park Foundation in partnership with Anchorage Parks & Recreation and the Alaska Department of Health, and supported by community sponsors including TOTE Maritime Alaska, this free community event brings together local nonprofits, small businesses, clubs, and creatives to showcase the many ways residents can engage with Anchorage’s parks and trails throughout the year, especially during the winter season.
Free for Everyone
Thanks to the support of our sponsors and partners, admission is free for attendees and there is no cost for organizations to host a booth. Whether you’re looking to discover a new activity, connect with your community, share your mission, or reach new audiences, we invite you to join us.
Through interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and hands-on activities, attendees can discover new ways to enjoy Anchorage’s parks and trails, from cross-country skiing, biking, and orienteering to arts, outdoor education, wellness programs, and more. Whether you’re new to winter recreation or a seasoned outdoor enthusiast, the fair offers opportunities to learn, connect, and find activities that fit your interests, abilities, and lifestyle.
The inaugural fair in 2024 welcomed more than 300 attendees, and we’re excited to welcome even more residents in 2026. The event is designed to help people of all ages build confidence, make connections, and discover new ways to stay active, healthy, and engaged in our community year-round.
Interested in Hosting a Booth?
We’re currently seeking exhibitors from across the recreation, outdoor, health, wellness, arts, education, cultural, and community sectors.
Whether you’re promoting programs, recruiting participants or volunteers, sharing resources, showcasing products, or inspiring people to try something new, we’d love to have you join us.
APPLY TO HOST A BOOTH
Booth space is limited, and applications will be reviewed to ensure a diverse mix of recreation, arts, wellness, education, business, and community organizations. Please submit your application by Friday, October 23. Acceptance is not guaranteed and organizations will be notified of their status after review.
Donate a Door Prize
We’re also seeking donated door prizes to help create excitement and encourage participation throughout the event. Gift certificates, memberships, classes, experiences, equipment, apparel, tickets, and other prizes are all welcome.
Even if you’re unable to host a booth, donating a door prize is a great way to support the event and connect with the Anchorage community.
