Celebrate Trails Day Bike Ride
April 25 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Stand Up for Trails on Celebrate Trails Day!
Join us on a bike ride to learn more about two federally-funded trail projects in Anchorage – the Ship Creek Trail to Coastal Trail connection and the Fish Creek Trail to Coastal Trail connection. The federal dollars are matched locally by voter-approved municipal park bonds. The trails will be built in the next five years – adding two more miles to the trail system.
Meet Downtown on your bike at The Rail @49th State Brewery – 721 Depot Drive (by The Boardroom) – west of the Alaska Railroad Depot
Biking time is about 75 minutes with information shared along the way. It may be icy, so bundle up. We will return to The Rail for the opportunity to purchase food and drinks.
This is an informal event to learn more about trail connections.
Before the bike ride, help us send a message to Congress by signing a petition supported by members of the Alaska Active Transportation Coalition. Please share with 10 of your friends!
Our goal is to get 250 signatures by April 25 to share with our Congressional delegation.
