UMED Farmers Market – Goose Loop Challenge

Join us at the UMED Farmer’s Market. We will be sharing information about the Goose Loop – a 3 mile loop connecting parks and trails with UAA, Providence and Goose Lake. Stop by to get a map and learn how to volunteer and get involved improving parks and trails in Anchorage. Everyone who completes the loop gets entered into a raffle for a free Moose Loop t-shirt.
About the Market
Where: Alaska Airlines Center VIP Parking Lot
When: Tuesdays from 3–6 pm, August 11th through September 1st
The UMED District is the second-largest employment hub in the Municipality of Anchorage, bringing together organizations like the University of Alaska Anchorage, Providence Alaska, Alaska Native Health Campus, Alaska Pacific University, the Alaska Psychiatric Institute, and many more.
At the center is the UMED Farmers Market—a four-week celebration held in August and September as we welcome students back to campus and embrace the abundance of harvest season. The market highlights locally grown and locally made products, with a strong focus on sustainability and supporting our land.
This year, we’re especially excited to introduce themed weeks that showcase how our community comes together to create a healthier, more connected, and vibrant place for all.
