Join us at 10:00 AM on May 2 for a community clean-up at Cheney Lake Park as part of Anchorage Citywide Spring Clean-Up!

Celebrate Cheney Lake Park as the 2026 Park of the Year while helping keep this beloved neighborhood space clean, welcoming, and ready for spring. As we work together to pick up litter and care for the park, keep an eye out for migratory birds returning to Anchorage—Cheney Lake is a fantastic spot for spring birdwatching.

All ages are welcome. We’ll provide supplies—just bring weather-appropriate clothing and your enthusiasm for giving back to your community.
