Stand-Up Paddleboard Demo Days

What’s SUP!? Have you been itching to try out a stand-up paddleboard but aren’t ready to take the PLUNGE and purchase one? Consider joining Anchorage Parks and Recreation at one of our FREE Stand-Up Paddleboard Demo Days to give this popular sport a try without the cost of purchasing a board. No reservations—all paddleboards are first-come, first-served, and a limited quantity of boards are available for 30-minute use.
- Life Jackets: There is no lifeguard on duty. Adult life jackets are available, but it is encouraged to bring your own to ensure a proper fit. Parents/guardians must provide life vests for their children.
- Ages:
- Participants ages 15+ may paddleboard solo with parent/ guardian consent

Adults must accompany children under 15
- Bathing Suits: Bathing suits are not required.
