Anchorage Park Foundation and Anchorage Parks and Recreation are excited to invite the public to the reopening of Taku Skatepark on Sunday Sept 29, 2-3pm.
The renovated skatepark’s world-class design features uniquely Alaskan elements like a whale’s tail-shaped bowl and inlaid Big Dipper. Sitework will be completed at the end of September making Taku Skatepark the newest and largest skatepark in Anchorage.
Celebrate the reopening with a ribbon-cutting, food trucks, and first runs.
