Writing in your Parks: Margaret Eagan Sullivan Park

It’s summer in Anchorage! Take advantage of the endless sun and the creative energy that comes with it by writing in Anchorage parks.

We will write with presence and awareness, using the sights, sounds, and smells of our natural surroundings as our inspirations. Each writing workshop will take place at a different park, giving you an opportunity to discover a beautiful piece of nature in your own backyard. Workshops will also include time to share what we write and respond, focusing on what’s strong about the writing and what stays with us.

Each workshop costs $10 and includes a journal and pen. This lunchtime workshop will take place at Margaret Egan Sullivan Park, which faces the beautiful Westchester Lagoon and the new Chanshtnu Indigenous art. Register here.
