2365 East 48th Avenue (Lake Otis Parkway and 48th)
Campbell Park is named after the creek that runs through the park. The creek is named for Sir Joseph Campbell who explored Alaska from 1792 to 1785. This park is often used as a place to launch your watercraft to paddle along Campbell Creek to Taku Lake Park.
The 7.5 mile Campbell Creek Trail cuts through this park. The trail is lit in the winter for skiing and in the summer there are points of interest for viewing salmon spawning. Cyclists, walkers and runners are encouraged to travel north or south on Lake Otis Parkway to a traffic light for a safe crossing at Lake Otis. The trail continues to follow Campbell Creek on the other side of Lake Otis – along 47th Court.
There are two parking lots for Campbell Park located on each side of Campbell Creek. A portable restroom may be available from May through August.
There is an inclusive playground with activities for 2-5 year old toddlers and 5-12 year olds.
