Join us for the 12th annual Anchorage Invasive Species Smackdown near the Food Forest at Chanshtnu Muldoon Park! We will be targeting invasive European bird cherry at the park, which degrades salmon and moose habitat and takes over our native forests. Lunch and shirts will be provided! Please bring water and work gloves, if you can. Leaders from the Anchorage Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area will be at the event to help identify weeds and provide information about how to stay involved! This event is for all ages and is family friendly! Please bring your friends!
