​​​​​​Bike Safety Event​​

Anchorage Parks and Recreation and the Anchorage Health Department are teaming up to hold our first-ever Anchorage ​Bike​ Rodeo at Chanshtnu Muldoon Park! Bring your kids and their bikes and join us for a day full of fun and learning! Kids will learn what they need to know to cycle safely in our community, including getting their helmets and bike fit, the rules of the road, using hand signals, and more!

The day will include food trucks, prizes, ​free helmets for kid​s who need one, and a chance to win a new bike! This is the perfect opportunity for kids to try new skills in an e​ncouraging environment with feedback from the pros. Bring the family, bike and a helmet, and together​ we can build a safer cycling community for tomorrow.

• Registration​: Register for a Timeslot
• Volunteer: We’re on the lookout for friendly volunteers to lend a hand with setting up, tidying up, and assisting our activity leaders.
• Note: Bring your bikes and helmets! We have a limited number of bikes to borrow.
