Westchester Lagoon Family Skate

There is no better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than at the Anchorage Parks & Recreation ConocoPhillips Westchester Lagoon Family Skate! There will be warming barrels, free hot chocolate, music, and everybody’s favorite skating assist seals! Westchester Lagoon is the place to bring the family or come out and make new friends. Bring your skates and join us from 1 to 3 p.m. (ice conditions permitting). Free to attend.

- When: Saturdays in January and February. Starts January 11 to February 22, 2025

Ready to help Anchorage GLIDE into winter? If so, consider volunteering at the Westchester Lagoon Family Skate and make this fun, family event unforgettable! We need your help with setup, skate distribution, slinging hot chocolate, and more!
Anchorage Parks and Recreation appreciates the dedication of our volunteers to accomplish projects and help out at events. ALL volunteers are required to complete a Volunteer Waiver. Youth under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian signature on the form to volunteer.
