The YEP team worked together to remove old rotting picnic tables and built approximately 12 new picnic tables, gravel pads and paths to picnic areas, removed underbrush, graveled more than 300 feet of trail throughout the park, and made improvements to the volleyball court. YEP worked with the Girdwood Parks and Recreation team to complete this project.
The project consisted of:
• Hauling 100 yards of gravel
• Compacting gravel picnic pads and trails to pads
• Deconstructing and constructing 12 picnic tables
• Volleyball court improvements
